Only one team can raise a championship trophy at the end of the year. But even without much hardware to show, seasons can still be fulfilling. Overcoming adversity, meeting or surpassing expectations, maximizing and getting the best out of a particular group are usually the causes of so-called “moral victory” seasons.​

Last year was not one of those seasons for Texas.​

LOL. That’s an odd choice of words for a future-tense sentence. I wonder if the author meant test the coaching prowess.

She’s now has the top perch off the tree called “Most underachieving Coach with top rated talent” as Holly had to relinquish her lifetime achievement hold of that title.
At least she earns her pay unlike another Big12 WCBB- Sherri Coale whose coaching has become a hot mess and is not going to get better.

Lifetime achievement awards are never relinquished! That will always belong to Holly.

Aston undoubtedly becomes the CTU (chief talent underachiever) among active coaches. She has a lot to prove at this point.
