-As a qucik side note UConn football has gotten a bunch of publicity this year from the DC and the students seem a lot more into it than my previous two years here. People care.

The people who didn't care the past couple years are now in the "Young Alumni" section. And those people are awful. I mean kudos to them on shelling out the 120 or however many bucks it is but try to be coherent by the time you enter the stadium.

Great article, I graduated in 2012 and honestly felt the same way. I literally had to beg my friends to stick around untill the game ended and then go over to congratulate the team. WIN OR LOSE. My suggestion is have the coaches do what Geno does after the Womens BB game. Give away prizes for the students who stay. I know we really shouldn't have to reward people for staying the whole time, but maybe its a start.

Mike & Mike had a segment this morning about Saban. Apparently he criticized the Bama fan base for not sticking around until the end of games too. O course, in their case, it's because they're up by 40 instead of the opposite....but he said it.
