The Huskies aren’t gifted from a facilities standpoint, but haven’t let that keep them from experiencing success. The Huskies made their biggest statement back in 2011 with a super regional appearance, but also have had success on the national stage since that point. For instance, UConn reached the NCAA tournament in 2013 before doing so again in 2016 with a 38-25 overall record. The Huskies had a strong postseason case this past season, but missed the field of 64 despite having an RPI of 38 and a 33-25 overall mark. While the Huskies may not have a premier facility, they do have a decent recruiting base, name recognition and a quality league to recruit to.<<

It is pretty amazing that UConn is ranked right there with those other AAC schools considering the geographic and facility advanatages those schools have.
