Yah, but she's the laziest player she's ever seen...

I wish some of their games were on TV so that I could get a good look at her. She sounds like a spectacular player. How exciting it must be to be a Delaware fan. This will be an experience that they will probably never have again after EDD leaves.

She's a great player obviously! I'm sure the touney committe will try and maximize her exposure. But, where does she go from here. Coming back next year was the EASY decision. She wants to be home. But EVENTUALLY?

Hopefully she can play for Washington or NY in the WNBA and still be relatively close to home. Could she sit out a year so that she doesn't have to play for the team that drafts her? I am not sure how that rule works in the WNBA. Who knows if she even wants to play pro ball...

The Blue Hens schedule indicates some games are available online.

They stream every home game (I think) Watched a few myself

I think that with age she has gained some maturity and perspective of her own need for independence and her long term relationship with her sister. The view from 17 is different from the view at 22.

You are right, Icebear. A lot of growing occurs in a fiver year span. She has been through a lot and is now probably much more prepared to deal with leaving her family. She simply wasn't ready at the age of 17.

For an agnostic like myself: comparison of EDD to Breanna Stewart in terms of skill set and maturity level, at age 17-18?

Good question. They both sound like very well rounded basketball players. Did EDD play much ball for the USA like Stewart did?
