If you read the New Haven register article Dave Benedict suggest that there will be a reduction from the roughly 600 student athletes. We currently have down to 500. Give him that title line says that benefits have to be provided parity, that means that at least 50 of those hundred reductions are male student athletes, and they likely aren't coming from either football, basketball, soccer, baseball, or hockey.
