Cut em all.

Obvioulsy nobody is cutting the entire team. it is a figure of speach meant to make a point. this team just seems to make the same mistakes over and over again. they can't defend the 3 if their lives depended on it. they don't appear to play hard, can't hit the 3 point shot, when they finally do get people to take desperation shots, they get outrebounded by lesser players. the coaching staff seems to make head scratching decisions...there need ot be changes in philosophy, a change in attitude and probably some changes in personel.
THANK YOU. Obviously I'm joking about cutting the entire team. Although Blaney does have to go and probably one or two players. The point is these players really don't deserve to wear the Uconn uniform.

"never underestimate the predictability of stupidity."

it fits perfectly. Huskymagic goes on one of his rants, posts it twice to make sure we all swallow it, and the other moron who started this thread agrees with him.
Aside from me joking about cutting the team would you care to argue with any of my points. If I'm so stupid clearly I'm wrong on many points. The floor I yours

Cancel the season. Refund all ticket money. Cancel the practice facility, send back the donations. Shut down the program. Have New York annex Connecticut. Petition for the names Jeremy, Alex, Shabazz, Tyler, Niels, etc. to be outlawed. Anyone with those names must apply to have their names changed to Ryan or Roscoe within a week. It's evidently all too embarrassing.

I love these threads. After dealing with knuckleheads at the office on and off all day, these threads make me laugh my ass off. I'm as chapped as anyone about the current results of this team, but to suggest that they just don't give a damn is beyond comical. From very personal experience teammates can be selfish, egotistical, self-absorbed, frustrated, etc. I'm betting that the idea of not caring and lazy isn't part of their vocabulary and that they try like hell every time out. I'm sure it's a ton of fun for these guys to be on campus knowing that they haven't lived up to expectations. If you don't think that they know that, they do in spades. Pretty awesome to be a college kid and know that everybody that follows the team you break your ass for thinks you're a hack, a disappointment to the program and not worthy of wearing the jersey. They are kids that, although they'd never admit it, actually care what others think and break their ass and sacrifice more than most of us will ever know.

Here's a thought...how about all of you who can't seem to remember that these are KIDS 18-21 years old, you LEAVE & we keep the team the way it is?

Oh & one more thing...these guys are (still) NATIONAL CHAMPS. What have you done lately?

Cut every player except Boat and Roscoe. Fire all the coaches. Save Calhoun. Just start over. This team has made a mockery of everything Calhoun worked to build over the last 26 years. They resemble the complete opposite of everything he has stood for. Forget all the laziness and stupidity to blow the game, the final play sums up these bums. Providence did everything to blow the game and we couldnt capitalize. With four seconds left after watching a 14 point lead evaporate the ball is on the ground in the middle of the lane and not one guy on our team hit the floor. Jeremy Lamb, our supposed star and future top 10 pick, after taking 2 awful shots before, watched the ball sit there and lazily bent over to "try" to pick it up. I bit*hed at the beginning of the year at how lazy we were against scrub teams and I was evicerated on this site. Well 20 games later our laziness has only gotten worse. Our tournament hopes were down the drain as the ball was sitting on the floor and not one player bothered to exert any effort no less hit the floor to fight to grab it and hope for a miracle shot. All of our former players who busted their as*es to build our program should be sick. Ill say it again. This team is a joke
You have brought dumb posts on this board to new heights. Congratulations!

Huskyfan32 is frustrated like all of us and might have a change of mind in a week or so. We have all come off the most unbelievable championship run in college bball history and we returned a significant part of that team. Had to assume that adding 3 top recruits would make us better. Guess what? Every basketball expert in the country was as wrong about us this year as they were when they didn't back us last year. Regardless of who is leaving aftr this year, we have an incredibly young team that plays like it. We are actually in the middle of 8 BE teams that play crappy. The impulse is to just burn it down but we shoudn't and we won't.
