Jardine,Waiters just overpowered Bazz and Boat. They are just so much stronger. They got to the hoop with ease. They were 15-19 and 5-6 on three's, 39 points. Uconn problem was defense today. Our offensive was much better. TO had trouble saying with Fair. Fair is just too quick for TO. RS minutes are down because as soon as he got in he was beaten twice down the court with Cuse getting two layups. Cuse just got way too many easy shots. That said Uconn kept it close for 33 minutes. But I think we all felt that at sometime Cuse was going to put their foot to the pedal and they did.
On offense Bass,Boat played well. lamb still in a shooting slump, AD and AO need to finish stronger. They missed 4 really easy shots because they finished real soft on these plays. Giff was very tentative and coach doen't seem to have confidence in him. They kept turnovers very low in the first half but they almost doubled the amount in the second half.
Overall they played better but they need to improve significantly if they expect to make the NCAA's. With 4 of the last games games at home we need to win 4 and hopefully two games in the BE tour. and we will be an 8-10 seed.
