I went over to the Cuse Board to congratulate them on the win today (obviously a mistake by me). They have a thread over there talking about how we are a mess as a program, F us, and we are turning into UMASS. They really do hate us. I do find it kind of ironic that they think we are about to go in the toilet when they have similar APR issues, possibly vacated wins from the year, and a steroids issue going over their head, as well as no FAB Melo the rest of the year.

It's laughable that Cuse fans would talk about the state of anybody else's program right now. I'd much rather have some problems with the APR than drug problems, academic problems, diciplien problems, and a child mollester who worked on staff for years...jeez, talk about not promoting an atmosphere of compliance.

I've been saying this all along: Calhoun gets nailed for failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance but Boeheim has promoted an atmospere of filth. No controll whatsoever. It's like the players run the asylum.

The reality is they have their hands full in the regional. Either Vandy or Wisconsin, who are both capable of beating Cuse. Then either Ohio St. or Cincy/Florida St. Plus they are going to lose a bunch of guys and then deal with the fallout of all of these things. We will be fine...hopefully the APR gets worked out, but I like the future either way with the new AD, President, and hopefully JC around. Cuse fans have become seriously delusional towards us. They have 10x the problem we have in my opinion.

seriously, i have a few friends who are diehard syracuse fans, and they have a napoleon complex when it comes to us. they try so hard to prove that they are on the same "elite" level as us but they come up short every time they try.

I went to the UConn/Cuse game my senior year with signs reading "Paul Harris Starring in Blow 2" and "Paul Harris Does Coke." They were based on his past of being arrested for intent to deal coke while in high school. Of course, the athletic department kindly asked me to relinquish them. Come to find out 5 years later we now know Harris was probably selling to his Syracuse teammates, too.
