Cursed athletes, ones who played between the rings

See a lot of people saying Wes Welker, but his crucial drop in crunch time is a huge reason why the Patriots didn't win.

I’m a Braves fan so take it with your daily sodium, but I’m starting to feel bad for Ronnie Acuna. He’s at worst a top 3 baseball player on earth, and the knee injuries are starting to pile up. Plus they won in 2021 with him on the roster but not playing.

Elgin Baylor,
14 years with the lakers went to the finals 8 times lost them all.
70-71 ruptures Achilles 2games in, 71-72 retires after 9 games, Lakers immediately go on 33 game win streak and finally win title later that season

Patrick Ewing—His career spanned the Celtics and Pistons in the 80s and Bulls in tne 90s. When he did get a chance in the finals, ran into prime Hakeem and then was hurt in the 99 final which started the run of success for the Duncan/Popovich Spurs.

Trent Green Commanded the Rams offense to precision, he gets an ACL injury in preseason and Kurt Warner goes on to lived a storied career.

Drew Bledsoe might have been the guy had he not gotten hurt. It's not the same as Trent Green, but he might have had a shot for a ring.

Mattingly is the obvious thought. Gotta feel for that guy.
