Ct. state tourney starts....best player in the state???

Class S: Somers waxed Litchfield 76-57 in round one....Litchfield had a strong 4th quarter to close the gap a bit....I doubt that DaRosa played many minutes late for Somers but she wound up with 40!

She is a junior guard who may well be the best in the state...all classifications...many area schools are looking at her...including UHart...also some BE teams as well. Capital Prep is an S school and also is ranked the #1 team in the state...all classifications. I'm guessing they are odds-on to win the S title.

She played only a couple of minutes in the 4th quarter....had 38 after 3. Toss in 10 rebounds
8 steals and 4 assists. They host Hyde in second round on Thursday at 7.
