St. Joseph's has received verbal pledge from 2014 Sarah Veilleux 5-11 G RHAM HS CT. Veilleux was just named CT Gatorade Player of the Year.

Interestingly, freshman Casey Smith of Danbury is transferring from St. Joe's.

I heard that Casey Smith was homesick. She was sitting out freshman year due to an injury. Sarah Veilleux is a 6 foot guard, one of the best players in CT. Why didn't UConn look at her? She will have a great career at St. Joes.
