“Maybe not outside these walls people don’t believe that, but inside we have our confidence,” she said. “If we don’t, who will? Obviously it hasn’t looked like it has in past year, especially the years I’ve been here and clearly the years before. We still have the pieces. It is all about time. It is our job to at least give ourselves the opportunity to win.
“I think it is a personal attitude with everybody. The biggest thing we have lost is you don’t see the same type of fire. That is what we’ve been trying to look for. That’s what we have been working on the last two weeks in practice is just trying to find the fire with everybody. The energy has been better since the Oregon game. Last Sunday at USF, the first half obviously didn’t show that and we were down. In the second half you saw a completely different team, and that is the team I think we can be.”
