Crystal Dangerfield started the 2nd half and really played well - given her rookie status.

Napheesa Collier continued last year's professional performance as well, but fouled out late.

The Sun dominated most of the game, but with Crystal's entry in the 2nd half she helped engineer the comeback.

Great defense, ball-handling, steals, shooting - pleasure to watch.

KML played much of the game for the Sun - welcome back.

WNBA easier to watch w/o fans than MLB.

should we add a game to Geno's win total? ;) (But then, with all UConn alumnae, can't count that high)

Just missing Maya
Not sure she will ever come back. Aside from that, great to see the UCONN players play well in Q4. Pheesa played much of the game like a nervous rookie - she seemed to defer to everyone else. Much more aggressive in Q4.

Minny had below average guard play for much of the game. Brown especially - driving with her head down into 2-3 opposing players, often, is a selfish sort of play. Hopefully Reeve makes them watch the game to understand the importance of TEAM play. Crystal ignited the comeback not so much with assists, but by not playing selfish and taking shots when she either had an easy lane, or was wide open.

To me it was noticeable that the offense ran more smoothly when she was on the floor.

So far, this is turning out to be a very nice day. I’m especially happy that 2 of our favorite daughters played well and helped their team win.

Yes, after Kia Nurse went down (not as bad as it could have been but still) , some good news in the family is much appreciated.
