Crystal Dangerfield Coaching?

Was anyone aware of Crystal being an Assistant Coach for Ensworth Girls Basketball? This was news to me!

Ensworth is home of 2024’s #1 player, and UConn POI, Jaloni Cambridge.

She’d be joining a crowded guard cohort at UConn. In the fall of ‘24 we’ll have KK, Ashlynn, Allie, Inês, Azzi, and possibly Paige and Nika. I’m not even going to count Caroline and Q. Of course, injuries could clear a path for her. But it’s hard to imagine this will be her most attractive option.

These were my thoughts as well. In the next few years, UConn will be loaded at the Guard position. I do feel, however, that Jaloni is good enough to work her way into the lineup pretty early on. Having two PGs leaving after her first year is also promising.

I’m not sure how sold she is on UConn, but Crystal and KK (her very close friend) have to be advocating for the Huskies.

This crossed my mind, but then I saw the post below on Twitter.

Per her social media, she’s very active in going to different schools on visits, so hopefully an official visit to Storrs happens.
