That would be a fantastic matchup as I'll be the first one on here to eat crow about this year's Michigan team. I "liked, but didn't love" them entering the preseason, but right now, they are the most complete team in college basketball. I'd put Iowa State at #2 since Otzelberger has finally got a good offense w/ his always incredible defensive squads.

Given how the op deviated so far from what I expected I would have preferred these predictions instead:

Providence has as good a chance as anyone to make the NCAA tournament who doesn't have any chance!
