Got a prime time game on Fox out of it. Not FS1. The mothership.Official attendance 9,114 which will have to beg the question of how much does this really help UConn and the bottom line of money when games at Gampel draw 10,299 and they get that money and all the concession money. XL may get 13-14,000. If the AD is nixing the Men's team from doing neutral site tournaments to protect revenue, why isn't this also under discussion?
If the UConn v Scar series is extended beyond Geno's present contract, I wouldn't mind seeing every third year played at a neural site: Barclay's, a site in Philly (for Dawn and Geno), a site in Boston, NYC, Atlanta/Charlotte, etc.Random follow up thoughts on the game at Barclays.
7) If UConn is the anchor, I hope they can continue to draw ranked teams. NYC/Brooklyn is a fun destination w/great food in the area. Good exposure for the game in a city that has lots of bids for sports eyes.
