Should be a home game for the Huskies but we shall see if the other fan bases turnout.

Well traditionally the LV fans that I have seen first hand, have gone to games at XL and Gampel and have traveled well to Maryland for the NCAAT game in 2019. Iowa did travel well to follow Caitlin Clark to Seattle in 2023 and last year in Albany. New Team, no Caitlin, new coach so who knows.
Louisville is an enigma- they used to travel well but the game crowd at home on Wednesday was disappointing so I also am not sure. It’s my hope 13,000 attend Saturday but…

Official attendance 9,114 which will have to beg the question of how much does this really help UConn and the bottom line of money when games at Gampel draw 10,299 and they get that money and all the concession money. XL may get 13-14,000. If the AD is nixing the Men's team from doing neutral site tournaments to protect revenue, why isn't this also under discussion?

Got a prime time game on Fox out of it. Not FS1. The mothership.

Before last year, had there ever been a WCBB game on prime time network TV?

Random follow up thoughts on the game at Barclays.

1) after worrying about attendance, I was more than pleasantly surprised. There were enough TN and Iowa fans to have a good crowd for the first game. Possible reasons: Holiday weekend, strong fan base willing to travel, local fan chapters?
2) 7pm start made the 9:45 second game a bit brutal, but a lot of folks stayed to the end. Early exit-era reminded my of Gampel or XL exits.
3) The in-arena team videos were DELIGHTFUL!!! Well produced, fun, showed the personality of the players and you could hear what they were saying. MORE of that, please
4) Normalize captioning/closed captions. Not everyone knows who the players are, so attach the names to their photos/intros whenever possible
5) Barclays is a lovely arena - would love to see it bid for a regional host. Not sure it's big enough to draw a Final Four (where would the WBCA conference be?)
6) Cool to have "Unrivaled" gear for sale. Important cross over opportunity. Not sure I saw individual team gear. Maybe next year?
7) If UConn is the anchor, I hope they can continue to draw ranked teams. NYC/Brooklyn is a fun destination w/great food in the area. Good exposure for the game in a city that has lots of bids for sports eyes.
8) Appreciate the players that attended the game and the shout outs during the broadcast (caught the 1st half replay and thought the production quality was really good.) Jess Moore was in the house.
9) I expected a smidge more NY Liberty/WNBA crossover - but I can understand why the focus was college ball. Was surprised there wasn't a bigger push from Barclays to WNBA ticket holders. Tsai DID tweet Chen's ankle breaker, though. lol.
8) I'm looking forward to next year!

Got the tickets as part of season tickets
Gave them away to friends in nyc
With the pm start it’s a hotel
Parking etc it’s pricey
Imho the women’s Fanbase is not likely to make this trip
Certainly understand the reasoning behind taking what would’ve been a home game with Louisville
And playing In Brooklyn but not so great as it to one of the few competitive games away from the old fans

If the UConn v Scar series is extended beyond Geno's present contract, I wouldn't mind seeing every third year played at a neural site: Barclay's, a site in Philly (for Dawn and Geno), a site in Boston, NYC, Atlanta/Charlotte, etc.

Yes, the students at home deserve at least one home game between the two during their 4 years in school, but I would love to see the "rivalry" spread.
