If you are 18 and NOT a talent on the national scene, a 4-year degree as a backup is always a better option than languishing in the G League for a decade with limited options. IMO fringe talents are better off going to UNI and if the NBA dreams still do not work out after 4 years, 22, and with a degree in the G-league still beats 18 and without a degree in the G-league.
