Bracketology seems to be an interesting fantasy sport.

What's more amazing is he's predicting only 2 PAC 12 teams while the A10 gets 3. How weak is the PAC 12?

Stanford is a very good team and the Oguwmike sisters make them competitive for the National Championship, but everyone else in the PAC 12 is in sorry shape. PAC 12 better hope they can keep Mercedes Russell (OR) in the west.

While not the sole determining factor, RPI is one of the criteria that the committee considers. Here's a link the PAC12 RPI.

USC has an RPI of 38 but an overall record of 18-12 with some dreadful losses and only one win over a top 25 RPI team.

I don't see that happening; I can see Mercedes going to Louisville, or maybe Kentucky.

I can't see a Mercedes going to the Louisville Bus Terminal. Jeff buses them in, and they bus themselves out.

How many wcbb players have left Louisville in the last 2 years? I'm not sure I have enough fingers and toes to count 'em on.

Louisville is the rumored favorite of Mercedes. Jeff does seem to over recruit more then many other programs. I suppose it helps he was able to recruit the Schimmel sisters out of Oregon so he has contacts in the State.

While Cal did not fare well against Stanford recently, they are a young a talented team--no seniors on the roster this year, and 2 of their top 3 scorers are freshmen. They could be very dangerous in the Pac 12 next year, especially with Nneka gone.

Could have been a very different season for UCLA if Jasmine Dixon doesn't go down.

UCLA was primed for potentially a huge season! Not only did Nikki Caldwell leave after getting a Top 3 recruiting class, but then you had the injuries especially to Dixon. Getting back to Caldwell leaving. The impact was #7 Justine Hartman:confused: ,got out of her scholarship and ended up at Cal,#27 Sheila Boykin was released from her LOI and ended up with Caldwell at LSU:rolleyes:. This is one of those things that really bothers me. Caldwell goes to LSU keeps Fortham 6'4" #5 signed by the former coach. The big loser UCLA,they lose Caldwell,They lose Hartman,Boykin, recruiting for the following year is hurt<they got a big break with Nina Fields for this coming year>.Caldwell wins all the way around,Cal wins big! In many conferences and schools you cannot transfer within the conference/or sit out 2 years, they do not let a kid follow the former coach! I understand the circumstances for the kids, but something just isn't right here.
I agree CAl has potential next season and will Stanford be weaker?

No one will probably see this, since the brackets are posted, but I had to post that Creme got exactly three teams right in the Kingston region: UConn, Rutgers, and Penn State. And he picked one team as a #9 that didn't even make the tournament: Virginia. So much for the expert.

He is seldom any good. I wonder at times if one might use any number of animal prognosticators and be as close sometimes.

couple of things:

One of the last teams in, Texas, was a nine seed, so in fairness, it's not like having one of the first out as a nine was totally unreasonable.

Secondly, I think the selection committee makes a point of not creating a bracket that looks like a popular bracketology bracket. They want there to be surprise, discussion, and maybe a little bit of controversy. That doesn't happen if Creme's bracket is accurate.

That's why I said when people got excited about Creme's bracket for UConn that it wouldn't be the actual bracket.
