When it comes to being left unguarded, Nika is in pretty good company. When Tiffany Hayes was a freshman, Jeff Walz used a similar strategy against UConn by leaving Tiffany unguarded. I can’t remember his exact words but he said something like he was giving Tiffany the opportunity to be the Big East freshman of the week. Tiffany shot 6 for 10 from 3 point range and 10 for 13 overall that game, and was named freshman of the week. Nika should not take it personally (although I like the results when she does).
