Creighton Post Game

Nice to see the team hit shots and rebound.

My only two complaints:

1) Need Reed to stop picking up easily avoidable fouls
2) The feed was cutting out a little, but was Tim Brando saying that should have been a foul on Malachi and not the Creighton player and that is should be a flagrant? Also, did he watch Newton play. Newton had the green light from very deep. He wasn't shy about shooting. His scoring ended up being a big weapon for the championship teams.

Where's Tom?
He fell asleep on the couch before the game ended. It is late for an old guy.

Loved Hurley's fire when we were up big. He said in the Providence post game that we weren't demolishing teams like the '24 squad but he believed we could get there. I think that fire he displayed tonight is exactly how he's going to pull that dog mentality out of this team.

We have the talent to be eviscerating good teams night in and night out. Feels like tonight was a major step towards doing that. Was awesome to watch and was reminiscent of the dominance the '24 team displayed.

Now let's string back to back dominant performances together. We've already wiped the floor with X once this season

Our defense is awesome and if Silas is aggressive scoring the ball and Jaylin and Ross are confident on offense instead of overthinking things we basically become unstoppable.

It sounds weird feeling like that was a get right game considering we were 20-1 heading into it but that's what it felt like.

Nice to see Mullins return with good game . All starters but Reed in double figures.

Nits were Reed fouling out especially with fourth foul at mid court. Reed and Reibe can’t be 0 fer on FTs although small sample size.

There’s the A game. As nice as it is to watch a close game down the stretch, it’s also very fun to dominate!

Great three point shooting by pretty much everyone. Braylon led the way with 4, Silas and Solo with 3, AK/Ross with 2

Silas especially did a little bit of everything. 15/6/5 on 6-11 FG and 3-4 3P

Stewart was aggressive. Hit a post shot, a three, and a Dirk fade (???). Ross also got the message from Hurley with two threes, one of them being on the move with 0 hesitation

Tarris got a lot of heat in the chat but I don’t know why. He got doubled every time he touched the ball and made the right play 100% of the time. Had some dumb fouls leading to him fouling out but major progress on decision making

Let’s go Huskies!

Some of us wondered if this team was a little "bored" during conference play along with getting everyone's best shot.

Go play in one of the toughest venues in a national game on Saturday night. They looked plenty motivated.
I’m saying..

Nice to get contributions from everyone tonight.

When Ross and Stevie are hitting from the outside you know it’s gonna be a decent night.

Hitting the glass hard needs to happen in every game. Holding teams to one shot like tonight enabled them to pull away.
