Not sure exactly what it was, other than be in Bazz/Boat's shorts, but that's the worst we've looked on offense since the 2nd half of the Stanford game. They seem to have our number, that was one ugly game by the Huskies.

Their defense will give the offense one good look per possession.

Hesitation and over passing will doom you against SMU.

And that's exactly what UConn did.

He is the only coach I've seen so far who focused on taking Bazz out of his game and was successful. Do that and your chances of winning skyrocket. They are better than their record and possibly when playing good teams.

They have become our kryptonite.

An NBA coach who knows how to limit a superstar.

Yup. It doesn't take a hall of fame coach to recognize that you cut the head off the dragon. Luck for SMU, they happen to have a hall of fame coach. When Bazz gets taken out of the game, this team is extremely limited.

Outside of Moore, SMU's 2-5 position guys are big, long, and muscular. That has caused a lot of problems for UConn's sub-6 ft. guards during both match-ups this year.

The game plan was to not let Bazz beat them. If our shooters (Giffey, Daniels, and Kromah specifically) weren't struggling, things might have ended differently. But they were off, and the strategy of smothering Bazz worked to perfection.

Our forwards need to be more consistent or it'll be a short postseason.

Daniels disappointed. We need some muscle and guys going to the correct side of the basket. Tyler perhaps was our best big man, that's not a good sign.
