We all know who will have the best team next season. Do you think it would make the games more interesting if UCONN let their opponent play six or seven players on the court? Could the new AAC have some type of cutting edge handicap system? Could Geno mastermind some new 5 on 7 offensive sets? Just curious.

Maybe go to something like the polo system, where each player carries a certain point handicap. We would start out, say, with a score of Podunk 55, Uconn 0, if all of our players were healthy. Stewie and MKL might be 20 point players, Stef and Bria 15, Lil' Mo, BB and MT 12, etc. The whold Podunk team might have a point handicap of mebbe 17. Just a thought.

Maybe go to something like the polo system....
Certainly plausible, but I just don't think Rosemary Ragle would go for it... as you know, taking a charge under the polo system can be just brutal for players.

On a serious note, we've often seen quotes from players stating that practices are almost always harder than the games. Part of the reason for that is because Geno puts them into impossible offensive or defensive situations and asks them to figure it out. He also routinely plays 5 vs. "more", probably 5 on 7 or 5 on 8 to get the kids used to double teams and swarming defenses.

And I'm sure there are fans who have hated the reffing and say we played 5 on 8 anyway...
