Anyone who watched the Spurs/Warriors game tonight saw how Castle can effect a game. He was big down the stretch.
He's just going to keep better and better. I said it the night of the draft that San Antonio was the perfect situation for him. They have Wemby already as the star. They have a HOF coach and now he can learn from Chris Paul and all of his experience.
Who cares about a list now. He'll be in the running for the hardware at the end of the season.

He’s already a borderline lockdown perimeter defender. Once the offense comes fully around he will be a perennial all star.

McCain is ROTY, but Castle has an argument for 2nd best rookie. Dude is scoring to pair with elite defense.

Spencer looked pretty decent in limited minutes for Memphis yesterday. Wells from Washington State is exactly what they needed at wing.

He had Curry in jail - it would've been really impressive for anyone, let alone a rookie early in the season. His offensive game is also strong aside from shooting, which appears to be steadily improving. He’s not afraid of big moments, make or miss, and is directly impacting team wins come crunch time on both sides of the ball (he air-balled a jumper and instead of sulking, ran back and stole the ball on defense).

His potential ceiling is much higher than McCains from a two-way perspective. It would not surprise to see multiple all star/all defensive teams in his future.
