Craziest place to find a UCONN logo

A friend of mine sent this to me, says he found by the campus of Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas. The logo is painted on a traffic signal controller cabinet.

Didn't we offer student tickets to Houston during the final 4 because we couldn't sell enough to our students? They were all at the girls final 4 location so we couldn't fill both student sections.

I never did like this new uconn logo- now I kno that it is a generic husky logo to boot. Bring back the old one. This “new” one we ve had looks like a soulless alien robot husky or something. Never did like.

I was at the Sheraton Resort on my honeymoon in Maui and saw the previous logo on a surfboard in the lobby. It was obv with the participants of the Maui tournament a year or two earlier, and had other schools as well, but still cool to see it halfway around the world (esp since we won it).

In an Indian tailor shop in a small shopping center in Bangkok. They said the flags had no personal relevance. Also notable, my wife went to Elon for undergrad.

The last time we were there they had since remodeled and they didn't keep the flags.

that was Kiza the Houston Baptist mascot. We used to play them in football and hear the husky chant shouted by the students. Did them no good because we beat them soundly.
