Those of you on Twitter need to follow Husky Games.

This UConn vs Virginia matchup was Geno vs coaching mentor, and friend, legendary Debbie Ryan. This was an Elite 8 game, played for the right to go to the Final Four. Robin Roberts is the commentator, and a fabulous one. I miss you Robin!

I was at this game and it scared the crap out of me. Big lead early, then Virginia lead at the half. Big second half from Rebecca and Jemelle. First NC came a week later. The beginning of the dynasty.

4 Score, who of note was on the opposing team (Va)? I liked that Va coach, Debby Ryan, I believe. She was good for Geno and good for WCBB, but not as well known as Geno.

Was a sad day when SNY gutted Huskygames. But so grateful to have the early years nearly complete.

I was there as well. After 10 minutes we were up 29-10....routing a good team...nothing
unusual about that. Then...BOOM! They treated us like a JV team for the next ten minutes.
Score of 44-37 at the half...UVA up...UP... by 7! A 34-8 run by the bad guys...yikes!

The second half wasn't spectactular but we cut the lead gradually with some solid play and....punctuated by a loud block by Rebecca... we pulled it out. Minneapolis here we come.

Pretty sure the game started at 11:30 AM...we ever played earliler than that?
