"Greatness is not an accident." That's what they came up with?
Given our play this season, excepting a couple of games, they may want to consider changing the slogan to: "Greatness is not an entitlement."
Didn't like the video on several levels.
Don't like mixing the women in with the men. It's not the same sport, despite the ostensible similarities. Winning in the men's game is about 100 times more difficult than winning in the women's game, and I don't like that the two are comingled as if they are equivalent.
Don't like the narrator's voice. 4 octaves below normal speaking voice does not make it intense or profound, it makes it creepy.
Didn't like the selection of bits. Was that Brendan Allen?
Here's another suggestion for the slogan: "Greatness - when you are great, you don't need cheezy advertising to convince people of it."
Wow Dude.....get a hold of yourself.
First off....you know the team is entitled, how? because you don't like how the season has gone? Im sure that as Bazz is missing like 10 jumpers in a row, he's thinking..."its OK, I got a ring last year"
Its a fundraising video for a practice facility, hence all the shots of ...you guessed it...PRACTICE....all the mundane things these kids do to try and be great
OH, and guess what else, the women will be sharing the aforementioned practice facility....and....the women's team has fans, some of whom just happen to have lots of cash, so yes, the should be appealed to in this as well.
and even when you are great, as our program is....they are trying to raise $30 million, a little cool advertising/solicitation like this is just fine.....They arent trying to convince anyone of greatness, they are asking for cash
