Did anyone else have speed issues w/Hoopstreams tonight? The quality was very poor and froze up continually. I wonder if their server was overloaded.

I had to refresh a number of times, annoying but always seems to take care of it (for a while at least)

I had the problem once. I closed Hoopstreams, then brought it up again and evrything was fine.

It was one of the clearest pictures I have had all year. Except for 30 seconds of fuzz at the start of the 2nd half.

Perfect all night.

I tuned in early (last 15 of the garden show) and it froze when it went to Hoopstream, but after reloading it was perfect for the whole game which is not the usual case here.

I dropped down my bite byte rate and it was great

Yeah, had to drop the bitrate, then had to refresh a couple of times. No different than most games for us.

Tonight was the first time I used Hoopstreams this year and was very happy with the picture. After about a minute and half into the game I had to adjust the bit rate and it was smooth sailing the rest of the game. Will be using Hoopstreams for the rest of the month.

Dropping the bitrate helps. One of the things I've found often makes a huge difference is to allow the game to buffer for a while (walk away from the computer), then come back and pull the progress bar back to an erlier time.. You won't be watching in real time, but the picture is usually made perfect that way.

Mine was as close to trouble-free as we've had all year. In fact, it was so good that I actually took note of it about ha;fway through the second half. Not one freeze.

I had no problems at all. I think the issue is really your internet provider. I have Comcast.

Mine was generally good but did lose clarity several times and only froze once.

I was watching yesterday's game via CPTV direct on Cablevision. There were a few moments during the game when they seemed to have digital image problems, including freezes, but they didn't last long and didn't interfere much with the game. It's hard to tell who is to blame: whether the problem is CPTV's broadcast or the cable provider.

I have two ways of recording shows, one directly to a DVR and the other via the cable company's own server (Cablevision calls it DVR Plus). For one recent Saturday afternoon game when I was away from home during gametime, I recorded the game via both. Decided to watch the DVR Plus version and the image was digitally a mess. Stops, fits, starts, etc. But no problem with the sound. I kept blaming CPTV and wondering why they made no announcement about technical difficulties. But later I tried the regular DVR version just for curiosity and the picture was perfect.
