Last night ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne hosted a zoom call for season ticket holders. Very positive and she shared the following information regarding procedures going forward at ASU.
Evidently the NCAA allows coaches to begin working with the team the end of July at least at this point in time. Coach said students returning to campus from within the US would be quarantined for 7 days. Players coming to campus internationally will be quarantine 14 days. At the end of the quarantine all players will be tested with both serum and nasal swabs. They will be quarantined until test results come back for both tests.
When asked about the upcoming season coach said honestly she had no idea. She had hopes that there would be a season but as of this point she said she could not commit. When asked about fans coach said the same thing.
When asked about recruiting this would be for 2021 coach said that ASU was fortunate as they had filled already four of their five slots with commits. Other school she said would find very challenging futures.
