Kentucky, good record, have not played anyone, (accept Baylor), went down at the hands of South Carolina. North Carolina 18-1, have not played anyone, going down at the hands of Maryland. (game not over), score Md 55- Carolina 34. Anyone have thoughts on these teams.

Teams that don't play anybody often have trouble competing when they do play someone.

Kentucky has beaten Louisville and Texas A&M.
UNC beat the same Maryland team a few weeks ago.

UNC was in the top 10 for part of last year, and didn't make the NCAA tournament. They have 4 challenging games coming up, they could lose 5 in a row.

Kentucky is offensively challenged, so most good teams have a chance to beat them.

Dawn has done a great job at SC. They won ten games her first year. They play real good defense.

If Duke doesn't make the Final Four this year, Coach P should be feeling pressure. Not "you're fired" pressure, but pressure. This is simply not a deep field of teams this season, and Duke has way too much talent not to make it to New Orleans. Duke hasn't made a Final Four since Coach G left.

I think either Tennessee or Kentucky could beat Duke if they end up in the same bracket. Will this be the year Tennessee ends up in UCONN's bracket? I am glad we played Kentucky last year since they might be the better of the two. Tennessee vs Kentucky should be a great game similar to UCONN vs Notre Dame.

I disagree about the talent, E Williams is very raw offensively, Grey is inconsistent, Jones is a developing freshman, Liston is one dimensional, and Peters is an average.

Coach P should feel the pressure, what is her contract situation ?

That's what I said, they have not played anyone............

Agree - she has done a 'quiet' job of building that program - the biggest news was Bone first choosing and then leaving SC but they are no longer one of the doormats and have played some good teams tight.
