this was a great game:
'couldn't make the Greater Hartford Pro-Am championship game Thursday night, but apparently I missed a good one as Recycle King Boyz came back for a 139-137 win over Harte Nissan to claim the title.
Jerome Dyson poured in 55 points to go with 12 rebounds to lead the way, while SMU-bound Danny Lawhorn added 32 and Doug Wiggins tossed in 22.'
borgesblog, 2012.
u know who buckets like 55 in a game of high comp? almost no one. ever.

#12 has a an interesting starting 5.

AJ Price
Taliek Brown
Tyler Polley
Kentan Facey
Andre Drummond

Verne Giscombe off the bench.

Having Taliek run the point and freeing AJ up to be a more natural scorer and secondary distributor. Put Polley on the wing and corner to catch and shoot off the penetration and Facey and Drummond to clean up the boards.

That would be a decent defensive team too with Facey and Drummond being able to help out with Polley's defensive limitations.

Not a big fan of this addition stuff. I enjoy the creativity, but I don't like the ambiguity. It is not objectively clear that the numbers are to be added. At least add some operators!

No.s 6-9 kinda sketchy.
Nos. 6-9: Five men’s players wore numbers 6-through-9 in the 1940s. The most notable of those was No. 9 Walt Dropo. The first true star at UConn, you probably know him better as the former American League Rookie of the Year with the Red Sox. In Storrs, the Moose from Moosup left as the all-time leading scorer in basketball, averaging 20.7 points a game in three years by scoring 848 points in just 41 games.

The dearth of available photos doesn't preclude the use of a plus sign!

Anyone know why those numbers are rarely or never used at UConn?

On the left, Bernie Fisher, Captain of the 1946 Huskies, number one in our hearts and #7 on the court.
