After all the losses in the top 10 this week, or will we stay the same? Thoughts.

maybe up a spot. I don't think beating Loyola will catapult us into the top ten

We need to beat Florida handily.

This isn't the BCS where margin or victory or style points matters.

That said, I still don't think beating Florida will be enough to get us into the top 10 next week, unless we're #11 this week and somebody ahead of us loses.

It's December 2. Does it really matter? Play and beat the teams on the schedule.

If I recall, UConn lost 5 in a row in 2002 and did not fall out of the Top 25 rankings. Rankings don't matter until late February.

That UConn team never lost more than 2 in a row. They ended 27-6. Maybe a different team?

I know it is strange to say this but I would rather not break into the top ten until we have beat a few ranked teams. Running a bit under the radar suits me just fine right now. We still have a lot of work to do and I like the "underdog" label- I think our guys respond to that well.
