This from the AP report says a lot about UConn and UNC:

"It's the fourth straight year that North Carolina has had a three-game skid. In contrast, UConn hasn't lost consecutive games since 1992-93."

The UConn "streak" is unfathomable.

what's even more scary is to think about the kids coming in next year and potentially the year after that. another unprecedented run of success may be in the near future...

Well said, Milford and Eric!

Sometimes we don't look at the positives for this team often enough....

Consider for this year:
1)We lost Maya - one of the most honored WCBB players ever.
2) We have one true Senior - Tiff.
3) We have one true junior (bless her 1000% effort at all times) - Kelly,
and two red-shirt juniors... the thankfully recovering CD the Younger
and Heather.
4) Of our 4 sophomores only 2 are battle-tested: Bria and Stef.
5. We have one consistent freshman - KML. Other freshmen and sophs are works in progress.
So, a 95 home game winning streak and only 2 losses (to top teams, yet) is pretty darn good!
March is coming. The team loves March....they want to peak for the big stages.

What is the second longest such streak, I wonder? Tennessee had consecutive losses (twice) in 2009. Stanford lost twice in a row just last season. Baylor did in 2010. Amazing to think UConn hasn't since 1992-93. In UConn's worst season during this run, 2005, UConn had multiple opportunities to lose twice in a row to ranked teams and didn't.
