James Wade is well justified in pre-emptively working the refs before the game. A. Thomas and Bonner are gonna combine for about 50 FTA in this game.

Gabby with 2 critical 3 pt shots made near end of 2nd quarter to pull Chicago ahead. Her form is actually very good imo

Tied at 41 at the half. A. Thomas and Bonner have been unstoppable, other 3 starters are no shows. Charles has been good off the bench.

10-0 run by Chicago to get back in it, keyed by 2 3's from Gabby. Sloot is scoring more than assisting thus far.

Tie game 41-41 at halftime. A little lower scoring than I expected.

Gabby hit 2 from the arc late in Q2.

Thomas gets away w/ a blatant shove in the back against Parker, no whistle. She's probably the most physical player in the league. She should foul out of every game, but the refs almost never call anything against her. She's a good player, but I just don't liker her style.

I had a feeling Chicago wasn't going to do well without Stevens and DeShields. The really miss that depth, athleticism and height.

J. Thomas has come alive in Q3.

I'm enjoying the rookies. I expected Hebard to play like she is, but Kaila Charles has surprised me.

Not a rookie, but I'm glad and surprised to see Alexis Prince playing.

Oh, and I LOVE Hiedeman. What a blast she is to watch.

Lead has ballooned to 16 thru Q3.

Gabby was brick city in the quarter, I think 1-6 shooting. Of course nobody else was doing anything for Chicago.

Lordy, Alyssa was just a one-woman wrecking crew on the boards and topped it off with a great pass to Hiedeman, who couldn't quite finish.

The Sun are definitely winning on hustle right now.

Run up the white flag. This outcome was really easy to predict. Chicago was gonna lose their first round game regardless of who they played. But credit to Connecticut for tough defense and hustle.

Thomas has almost as many O boards (10) as Chicago has D boards as a team (13).

Gabby is going nuts in Q4. Too little too late but good game overall for her.

Okay, time to give Chicago some credit. Didn't roll over and die, have cut a 18 or 20 point deficit down to 9. Only 2 minutes left though.

I don't exactly love her style, but A. Thomas had a monster game. 26 pts/12 reb/8 assists. 94-81 final.

19 for Quigley, 17 for Copper, 16 for Gabby, 12 pts/6 assists for Sloot.

I think I miscalculated. If Washington wins, the 3 seed LA will get the lowest seed and Lynx get CT. If Phoenix wins, they are the higher seed so Lynx get them and LA gets CT.
