After watching CCSU hang with EMU this past weekend, I started wondering when the last time was that UConn was the best college football team in the state. Here are the current rankings of CT DI college football teams according to the FBS/FCS metric at compughterratings:
After Week 4
123. Yale
186. Sacred Heart
204. CCSU
237. UConn
Our ranking of 237 would have us 10th out of 12 in the CAA and 5th out of 10 in the NEC.
Take it with a grain of salt, dispute the site, but by any metric we should be crushing these teams. To me, seeing these numbers helps contextualize our suck.
