And with a bit of irony TOM Verducci gets the first interview

That turned out to be an epic Game 7.

Happy for the Cubbies & their fans for finally breaking their curse.

Grew up an Indians fan. This hurts. The hurt is not going to go away for a long time.

Keep your head up bro... Indians ain't done... I can see a repeat next year easily.. but as we all know, the game of baseball is not that easy...

But, look on the brightside, you guys have Tito, so you got a shot regardless

The Cubs are set to dominate for a while. Schwarber is a baller. I've been kind of surprised the Red Sox didn't kiss Epstein's rear end to keep him.

Indians will be back soon, the team is too strong to fade after one season.

Maddon did everything in his power to blow that game by overmanaging. Should have never taken out Hendricks and then once Lester was in he was too quick with the hook for him as well. Chapman was spent.

Thanks
Been a Cubs fan since 1964
Long time coming FOR SURE
Madden did some curious things BUT the guy has proven to be a managerial genius
Lester freaked me out last night and Chapman, well, I knew when they got him that anything from the Yankees might be cursed (almost!!)

Help me w/ the thought process that this is a "shot @ UConn:"?
Maybe ESPN with a veiled shot at UConn by saying "we got you on the Big 12!!!" so now UConn is injured

Lindor is an insane talent. Dude is a freaking gazelle on the field.

See? The evil ESPN even makes money on our poor Jonathan!!!
ESPN can open a window and have our mascot on their campus in < 1 hr for a commercial.
Funny though.

Cub fan since 1967 while living in Downers Grove, Illinois. My first game at Wrigley was in 1968 ... in the second row, right behind the Cub dugout. We saw:

Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo, Ferguson Jenkins, Randy Hundley, Don Kessinger, Glenn Beckert ... the best baseball team in history that never won a championship of any kind. Four Hall of Famers and not even a division championship.

Go Cubs, Go!

The game was epic. Wife is a Cubs fan and we weren't going to bed last night no matter what. When they took that tarp out I foresaw along night ahead for us. Thankfully it was not long lived. Pretty awesome ending for the Cubs. Feel for the Indians though as they dominated the early part of this series.

Was definitely a fitting way to end the series.

Congrats Cubs fans
