You know for all Bria's shooting woes and Moriah losing her scoring touch, they still played brilliantly on defense and ran the offense very well. The team as a whole shut down the best offense in the country and a lot of that came from the pressure up top by the guards.
They shot a higher percentage than Uconn and scored at the second highest rate - 4 points more a game than Uconn did, and you can say the ACC plays mediocre defense, but that is one of those 'don't go there' statements when talking from an AAC perspective - we can argue relative strength of schedule issues all we want but I think the 40 games we played and the 38 games they played come out about even from a difficulty standard.Agree with it all except the best offense in the country (eyeball and fact) is also UConn. ACC just plays mediocre defense at best. Been that way for ever. That is why ND ran through that conference like merde through a goose.
