No matter what you think about how we played, it's time to acknowledge that ISU came out and took it to us. They played great and they deserved to win. We ran into a buzz saw, IMO. They also didn't fold even when we cut the lead to single digits.

Win something that counts pal.........your guys played out of their respective a**es for 10 minutes that was ultimately the game. Kinda wanted to root for you in the next one but with folks like you I hope for a 3-24 outing from 3 and a 35 point drubbing to prove how really good that team is !!!

Sorry, didn't mean to touch a nerve. We get it---you have a much better basketball tradition than we do. But this year we clearly had the better team. Your guys came out like you thought it would be a cakewalk. The pregame quotes were pretty rich.

It was a huge win for us. We played about as well as we could. I had no idea if we could beat UConn and I am thrilled that we did.

You guys didn't miss in the first 12 minutes, and we weren't able to fight back. Just enjoy the win without being a mushroom cap, especially since you're almost definitely going to be in the same position as us in a couple of days.

Yeah they thought it would be a cakewalk? You kidding me they've had a rough year and somehow willed themselves into the dance......they have a couple kids who won a National Title so they can't have a little confidence or attempt to show it? "Clearly" a better basketball team this year or tonight? While I congratulate Iowa State, they are going to have some problems against Kentucky. First of all Kentucky can go inside and you can expect their big men to get more than 4 points and 6 rebounds combined. That threat alone will give Kentucky guards more room to create havoc, but I expect a good game.

Realistically, UK should blow them out unless ISU hits about 15 bombs.

Heard Royce White on ESPN radio this morning. He grew in the same town as Khalid EL-Amin and is a big UCONN / Calhoun fan. Sounds like a great kid. I hope they clobber KU.

The better team this year won. But if your point is that UConn didn't respect you and that is why ISU won, you are tacitly admitting that UConn was the better team. UConn cut the lead to 6 after trailing by 22--that's a 16 point swing once they stopped blowing assignments. If they "respected" ISU, then that is more indicative, perhaps than the final score.
