Junior Kiah Gillespie and soph Desiree Elmore [both attend Capital Prep] have been invited to the USA17
U trials in Colorado Springs in late May. Two kids from Ct? Wonder if that has ever happened before?

Not sure if they had those teams in the mid-90s, but Nykesha Sales (Bloomfield) and Nadine Domond (Bridgeport Central?) were both first team AAs at that time.

If Nadine had selected UConn and not Iowa [C. Viv at Iowa for just her frosh year before vamoosing for Rutgers], we would have 10 rings at this point not 9.
Nadine was as talented a combo guard as Nykesha was at small forward. Anyone know the whereabouts of Nadine?

Nadine is now a renowned Nike basketball trainer who I think lives in Virginia now, she runs Nike camps and clinics year round
