Congrats To Lyle McCombs on being named a team captain last week, and leading the team to getting their first win of the season, and doing it in the kind of way that builds character. Been a long, long time since we had a team come back like that in the second half.

Now kick the living tar out of Rutgers.

While that win wasn't exactly a model for convincing anyone that we are actually a good football team, let me add something to what Carl just said. At 0-9, on the road, in 28 degree weather at night, on the other team's senior day, down 21-0 at the half, it would have been damn easy, if not expected, to pack it in. For whatever else happened this year, congratulations to the players and coaches for coming out and not quitting in the second half. That is the mark of character. Winning was just a bonus.
