I'm not sure if sweeping the national champs in the regular season would make them more or less bitter about being kept out, but I can see arguments both ways.

It makes us feel somewhat vindicated, but really makes us feel like we should have beaten Houston when we had our chance. Only ourselves to blame.

Thanks man! We met a st joes fan right after the Florida game in Dallas and he was a little bitter though very respectful on what we accomplished this year. Love fans who understand the game and know basketball is about matchups and also coming together as a team for march madness.

Having just returned from Dallas and seeing the Bush Presidential Library on the SMU campus - Dallas, the SMU campus and on campus stadium will make a great UConn football road trip in years to come (as long as we both remain in the AAC)
