Conference Tourney Winners

When Filling out my bracket, one of the trends that I keyed on was the fact that over the last 13 years or so, only twice has a team who didn't win their conference tournament win the National Championship; Carolina both times. Winning your conference tournament is a huge indicator of peaking at the right time.

UConn has now beaten the A10 Tourney Champ, the Big 12 Tourney camp, the Big 10 Tourney Champ and the SEC Tourney Champ. Sprinkle in the Big East Regular Season champ for good measure.
