With the demise of the Pac-12, here are my projections for the relative rankings of the top dozen basketball leagues for 24/25:

1. Big 12
2. SEC
3. Big Ten
4. Big East
5. ACC
6. MW
7. WCC
8. AAC
9. A-10
10. MVC
11. Ivy
12. WAC

Sadly, it's hard to imagine the BE getting more bids than the ACC after what we saw from the selection committee this year.

The Big Ten sucks. Not getting better next year with 18 teams either. I agree with Big 12 / SEC as the top 2

The Big 10 hasn't had a national championship since 2000.
I have a way to fix that for them.

And, ESPN has already started to crank up the ACC hype machine with Duke at #1 in the Way Too Early Top 25, and Lunardi proclaiming Duke the #1 seed for the tournament. Sure, they are bringing in Flagg and a top recruiting class, but they've lost 8 players from this year's team!

cmon, Cal has shown how effective bringing in 7-8 Freshman can be! They will make the tournament and lose in the 1st or 2nd round!
