The only year they didn’t was 2010 when Tennessee was very balanced with no obvious standout performer. Mississippi State has a major standout in Victoria Vivians, who should be a front runner for NPOY with her consistency and excellent play all season. She has more help than A’ja but why would that count against her? Her numbers are stellar and she’s been the best player on far and away the best team in the conference.
