The lack of depth and height? There was nothing there the last few years... For many of our fans out here, they are seeing what Baylor, Oregon and ND are doing, and with their gap analysis they are seeing that these programs are right on UConn's heels. Is it paranoia? Perhaps so, but as Steve Jobs used to call it: it's healthy paranoia that the top dog and leader of an industry ought to have in regards to its competitors. Otherwise, that top dog might unduly and tragically mistake tradition for stagnation....
