Some movement!
  • Duke's loss to UConn drops them from #5 to #7 (hurt by #17 RPI). The tests are coming: thx to a scheduling quirk, 0 of their first 8 ACC games were against the composite top 50. But 8 of their last 10 are.
  • Penn St (now #8) swaps spots with Kentucky (now #10)
  • SCar makes a big move #16 to #12
  • Georgia, Iowa, Nebraska with solid rank gains
  • So Florida moves up to become the 8th big east team in the top 50
  • Mich, Mich St, Okla St with double-digit % declines
  • Hosts St Johns (57), Ohio St (61), LSU (65) still not looking good

One more factoid:

The top 25 have 74 losses. Over one-third of those losses (26) are to just 4 teams -- UConn 7, Baylor 7, Stanford 7, Notre Dame 5.
