@CoachDCorleyJr: #Mush! It's on! @UConnFootball adding 2 Dawgs to the family tonight! The time to join our 2015 Pack is now! Congratulations young man!#UCONN

Geez, we are going to have the tallest class for sure! Looks like a good downfield blocker with good hands. With a few pounds of muscle, could be a real receiving force. Welcome Ben!

>>Aside from UConn, other schools that were showing steady interest were Boston College, Rutgers, James Madison and Yale. He did camp at Boston College on Sunday and had tentative plans to camp at Rutgers on June 21st. >>

FYI on Ben Hartwick from the local paper here in North Jersey, the cause of the injury is not stated. Best wishes on a speedy recovery, Ben.

"Ben Hartwick was given a full ride to the University of Connecticut," Remo said of last year’s two-way standout, "and he was up at camp and tore cartilage in his knee. He’s out for the year. That’s the only negative thing I can say about this team."

According to JB on TOS (and with full attribution) - Hartwick will not be coming in for 2015, will gray shirt and look to enroll in January 2016. He's been out all senior season secondary to second ACL tear.

>>So how does Hartwick feel now that this has all been resolved? "Much better," he said. "There was a little period when we were in the dark, but if felt good to get back in contact with my recruiting coach. Coach Wolthausen and I have had a good relationship through the whole thing. He has been very supportive."

So with over a year to go before he enrolls at UConn, Hartwick shared his upcoming plans. "They recommended I take some classes at a junior college so that I can get ahead, but other than that just a lot of training."<<

I would bet he has a Ballis plan handy!
