Did a little Screen Scraping on the Women's Basketball Transfers web page and arranged the data into a report by school.

Within a school, there are three categories that students fall into:
1) Transferred IN
2) Transferred OUT
3) Still in the Portal

Interesting, maybe...

And seeing that July 1st has come and gone, the portal for the 21-22 season is closed, right?

I don’t think so. Delaynie Byrne, from UNLV entered the portal yesterday

I was under the impression that the original deadline dates were May 1st for fall and winter sports and July 1st for spring sports. However due to the late date of the official notice, for 2021-2022, players for all sports had to notify their schools/enter the portal by July 1st 2021.

The portal never closes I believe, the rules are affected by dates, but the portal remains open - it is the only option for NCAA scholarship athletes that want to change schools and remain on scholarship.

I believe the July 1 deadline was for the no-sit-out first transfer.
