Listed below are recruiting class rankings similar to what ESPN reports, except that the compilation is over the last two years instead of one year, and only HoopGurlz rankings are considered in determining the team rankings. I have attempted to rank the teams with the best high school recruiting for 2022 plus 2023. The 2-year perspective may have some predictive value, and the compilation comes at a time when there is only limited information about how the players in the 2022 class will do at the college level.

Two-Year Recruitment Rankings by Team with HoopGurlz Rankings
  1. UConn: 4, 5, 6, 15, 41
  2. Arizona: 8, 9, 14, 21, 21, 31, 85 (21 both years)
  3. Stanford: 1, 10, 20, 37, 39, 71
  4. S. Carolina: 12, 13, 17, 18 ,25, 40
Next are: LSU, Duke, Oregon, UCLA, Texas, Texas A&M.

Those rankings are subjective but very close in most cases. The assembly of talent from these schools prove that. Boston was the number 4 player in the 2019 class....who's ahead of her now in that class ? There are many other examples but that was the first to come to mind. It's players getting into the right system that means everything. You have to have talent to go with that talent and then mesh it together and coach it up. That's the separation of true talent. Tennessee is going through the talent that's not meshing or getting coached up at the moment. It's the right players that buy into each other....that's the tricky part.
