Is Mora's home up for sale yet?
He’s losing Fagnano and Bell. We probably aren’t getting nine wins next year and he’s not getting younger. It’s a seize the moment move for Mora. And possibly his frustration with being third on the pecking order with media coverage at UConn. I found his press conference snark a few weeks back surprising and now perhaps indicated something deeper here.
I believe he rents. Is Mora's home up for sale yet?
Sort of. I think it’s more like seize semi-retirement. He’s getting old and wants to be out west long term. This is another low pressure build job. Basically, repeat the UConn model while being close to home and the Rockies. It’s probably a very smart move for him. He’s losing Fagnano and Bell. I think you aren't seeing the whole picture. I won't be panicking unless DB hires RE, PP, or BD, and I doubt he would.I knew after the last B12 debacle, but this is the blaring alarm sign that we’re never getting the power conference invite. He wouldn’t leave if it was on the horizon, this program is officially on the clock.

The old presidents houseI believe he rents.
I’ll say this, there were rumblings about him leaving 2 months ago. I got a message from someone with some ties to the program asking if I had the most recent FOIA for his contract and buyout language in it, so someone was on the scent back then… My guess is Mora was a bit frustrated with the resources & not being in a conference. Strike while the iron is hot type thing. And possibly his frustration with being third on the pecking order with media coverage at UConn. No, please no. I don't want a guy who is 13-35 at freaking Akron. His best season there is 5-7. The fact people in the national media have even suggested this shows how little respect people have for our football programTime to bring Joe Moorhead back home
How do you sell a haunted house? Is Mora's home up for sale yet?
No! I hope you're kidding.Hey Nick Saban, got a few minutes to talk? Want to get back into coaching?
I guess you get spoiled skiing in the Rockies. The best ski area in the Northeast is mid pack as compared to the Rockies. Yes we have Killington nearby, but do international skiers go the Killington or Vail? Or to Mount Snow or Aspen? This. Yes, CSU has more stability being in a (any) conference, but if this is true it has more to do with wanting to live in the Rockies.
There are lots of guys who want to be head coaches and are looking for the chance to prove it. Right now, as an independent, this is a very tough situation to win at. It's also an opportunity for someone to make their name, and move up. I know the idea of being a stepping stone sucks, but for now that can be a lure to get a guy here. And the evidence that you CAN win is right there, so that needs to count for something I think. This is a disaster. We are losing our offensive weapons and all of our defense again. The portal will be an absolute show with the program in chaos. Edwards will get poached. What decent coach will want to jump into that mess. We could go back to a 2 or 3 win season next year.
Rule #1Well, it was fun while it lasted. Anyone still think we don’t need to place our Football team in a conference?
